I bought tickets and my concert got cancelled. Instead of refunding me my money (186.85) they are supposedly giving me 120% credit that expires dec 2021 and I even bought the ticket insurance. I don't go to concerts enough for this to be beneficial to me and apparently there is no way they can resolve this. I am also in the military and currently pregnant. I can't leave the 50 mile radius still and tried to get my money back before they cancelled the concert, but they said I couldn't and to wait til later and I could transfer them to someone. I'm more than displeased with this company. I will never buy anything through them again!

I purchased NBA tickets for 2 games scheduled in March, but due to COVID-19 it didn't happen. I waited 2 months with no response from stubhub so I had no choice but to take action. There is a pandemic going on and no one can afford to waste money at this time so I disputed the charge with my bank. Between May 7-10 I also purchased 2 tickets for the NFL season. The morning of May 12th I was locked out of my stubhub account and was told that since I filed a chargeback for the NBA tickets, my account would be disabled and that I'll have to drop the dispute with my bank in order to access my account again. I won't drop the dispute because the money was mine and the event never happened and stubhub failed to keep customers informed on what's going on. If disabling my account is a part of their policy if you file a dispute with the bank then that's no problem, They can keep the account I can care less but how can they lock it right after I just purchased NFL tickets? Technically the tickets are mine because I paid for them and stubhub accepted the payment with no problem. I'm just asking for either a refund for the tickets that I paid for or to release the tickets. How can you keep my money and not give me access to the tickets that I paid for, and claim the only that they can give me my tickets from the now disabled account is to drop the chargeback from my bank. That's extortion and robbery.

BEWARE - DON"T USE STUBHUB TO BUY TICKETS

BEWARE! MAKING A PURCHASE FROM STUBHUB DOES NOT MEAN YOU GO TO A GAME. They can take it back hours later and cancel the purchase just before the game you planned to attend. It is such a terrible business and they don't care. We bought tickets from STUBHUB this morning for our family of 4 to go to the Atlanta Hawks playoff basketball game. The sale went through on the agreed upon price and they took our money for the assigned seats in the Terrace level. I stopped looking for other tickets and my family all got ready for the game tonight. My husband even got off work early. As we were leaving to go to the game, StubHub sends us a notice that lets us know 2hrs before the game that the tickets we bought and paid for are now not available. There are no other tickets available together in the stadium except in the most upper deck at the same price. They just said "Sorry, it happens" and stated that BUYING A TICKET FROM THEM DOES NOT MEAN YOU GET THE TICKET OR GET TO GO TO THE GAME. If the seller also sells the tickets on another site (like Ticketmaster), STUBHUB has no way of knowing this but holds your money and leads you to believe you have the tickets which you bought. How do these companies not have a way to guarantee their tickets or monitor if the seller even has the tickets or is still selling them? You can buy the tickets, make plans, and then find out right before the game the tickets you bought aren't there? What? They sell tickets they have no access to and cannot guarantee anything- A PURCHASE MEANS NOTHING!. I spent hours on the phone with customer service and their response is just "Sorry". This is such a terrible business model. Please use another way to purchase tickets as STUBHUB IS A MESS - THEY CAN ONLY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT CAN"T DELIVER TICKETS. EVEN AFTER THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, A PURCHASE MEANS NOTHING. We still haven't even been refunded our money and our plans are ruined. How can they not let you know in a timely manner the purchase made from them was not a purchase? Their business is to sell tickets but they can't actually deliver what you purchase. We could have gotten tickets elsewhere if if we knew right away, but STUBHUB CAN"T MONITOR THEIR OWN TICKETS. We are all so disappointed. WHAT A SHAM!

Second time in a row my purchase was redirected to AXS.

Second time I've purchased through Stub Hub only to be redirected to AXS to retrieve my tickets. AXS are crooks. In order to retrieve my purchase I'm directed to a random email and told I need to log in there to acquire my tickets. Kind of tough when you don't have a password for an email you've never seen before. I have a real AXS account why the heck these tickets can't be transferred there I have no idea. The first time I managed to get things squared away at the venue. I'm hoping I can do the same in a couple days. STUBHUB, you've lost a customer. You avoid culpability by claiming to be nothing more than a middle man, but you're the bastards taking my money. No more.

If I could give a 0 star I would. Purchased 2 tickets to hawks knicks game and seller never sent the tickets. Every-time you try to call them they say there is a 3 hour wait which I 100% don’t believe.

Stubhub is a headache

Stubhub is a stressful, confusing and wrong. Their customer service is extremely unorganized and the wait time is ridiculous.
I was a first time seller (and buyer) with stubhub and I will never use it again. Their policies are clearly to benefit them, and them only. I made a mistake trying to sell my tickets because my tickets were not actually “in-hand” and I am now responsible for the price of the sale; on top of already purchasing the tickets. As soon as I realized what happened I called customer service, I joined the waitlist to be called back in 20 minutes… 2 hours later I talked to a nice lady who said there would be no problem she just had to get a hold of a manager. I was on hold for another 20 minutes when she came back and said she has to reach a supervisor but she can call me back. My mistake, I said okay and hung up the phone. I never got called back, I tried to reach a supervisor 4 times the following week and they will not let me through to one. I have to wait for the charge to be processed and dispute it through my bank rather than talk to a supervisor at a company who claims to be legitimate.
Although the people I have spoken to were polite; the company as a whole is not. I will never use, or suggest stubhub to anyone ever again.

I had a massively f**ked up experience…

I had a massively f**ked up experience with Stubhub in Mexico. I bought tickets to Cruz Azul Santos Mx Liga match final. In Mexico they merely just act as a connector they used to act more like a real Stubhub, anyway they changed the address a few times eventually I got in contact with the Ticket supplier who told me to basically meet him in the ghetto, after being harassed by people going there he never showed up. It's likely he never had the tickets. Even if he did have the tickets, a lot of football tickets in Mexico would have been only made available to narcos, so potentially a narco has my phone number now.
I cannot say for the US but it's a very different model in Mexico, not the same product, I would absolutely advise against using StubHub Mexico.

Difficult.. never buying with Stubhub again !!!

I bought tickets for a Marc Anthony concert nearly 2 years ago. Due to complications with Marc Anthony’s back the concert date was moved and then COVID-19 happened and the concert got cancelled. It was so hard to get on the phone with this company and then after a week when I finally got in touch with them they could not refund the money under any circumstance, they stated that “I have to hope that someone purchases the ticket.” I got a notification today May 30th, 2021, that someone had finally purchased the Marc Anthony concert tickets. I transferred the tickets and completed the sale. I got an email from Stubhub stating that I will receive the money for the sale 5-8 business days after the concert. The concert is in early November, so now I have to wait 6 months in order to receive my money back. They also charged me a $55 service fee for selling the tickets.. outrageous. I don’t recommend doing business with this company l. First and last time for me , just too much of a hassle and everything is so difficult.

StubHub Does not take responsibility for their own Failures

I purchased tickets to a Baseball game which were to be delivered on Friday, two days before the games Sunday playtime. Friday rolls around and my app changes delivery dates to Saturday, the day before the game. Saturday rolls around and no tickets come in all day. By the time I noticed their customer service line was closed so I posted on their community help forum with no replies from StubHub.
Sunday comes and I'm in full panic mode. The game starts at 1 pm and there are no tickets available on the app. I send off multiple emails to their customer service, none of which have received any reply and I wait until 9 am to call them which is when they open in my timezone. I'm on hold for 2 hours before someone finally answers the phone. In those two hours I finally receive an email from stubhub asking me to "call them" to resolve the issue with my tickets. If you can't secure paid tickets at the correct time you need to reach out to the customer directly. Not send them an email asking them to call you so they can wait in queue for their issue to be resolved. Luckily through no proactive customer service work on StubHub's part, I managed to secure replacement tickets less than 2 hours from game time.
I Will NEVER be using StubHub again and neither should you.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I purchased parking passes from them on Mother's Day, and to this day I still do not have the passes. Customer service promised me a refund and yet I still do not have that either. DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO JUST GIVE AWAY! Read the reviews on them, they are terrible!

Horrible Customer Service

I had a horrible experience with Stubhub's customer service. I would be very wary of buying anything from Stubhub if you think there's even a remote possibility that you'll have to engage their customer service team to resolve any issue.

I'd purchased tickets for a show for $650 back before the pandemic, and when the pandemic caused the show to be cancelled, Stubhub came out with a promotion to allow you to either get a full refund or take a credit of 120%. I decided to take the 120% so that I could do fun outdoors activities with my kids (120% of $650 is a lot of money!) The emails they sent out gave instructions on how to accept the offer, but when I logged in those options weren't available to me. So, I called Customer Service...

Several attempts to call failed because I didn't have the time to wait on the long holds (wasn't expecting to wait more than 15min), so I went digging for a customer service email option or even a virtual chat... nothing...

Finally, when an email came out saying the end of the promotion was a few days away, I decided to find a couple hours and just do the hold game. Sure enough, after being on hold for 54min, I finally spoke to a human being. She was perfectly nice, but she told me she couldn't resolve the issue and that she'd need to pass my case on to the technical team.

When I hadn't heard anything in a couple days, I called back, but again the wait times on hold were too long and I didn't get through. Finally, I ended up getting an email saying my money was being refunded, so I called and sat on hold again, until I finally got through to someone.

I then spent longer on the phone with a CS agent who literally kept repeating the same words over an over indicating that the promotion was over (despite my attempts to take advantage of the promotion before it ended) and that they would not honor it. I politely asked to speak with a supervisor after she said she couldn't help me, but she placed me on hold for another several minutes and came back and said there were no supervisors available due to the high volume of calls. I spoke with her more (very politely)... kind of to see how long I could get her to talk to me... it was a game for me at that point since I was never going to get to take advantage of this promotion. I kind of enjoyed just being very polite and seeing if I could get her to see it from my perspective, but she kept reading from a script or something that said "the promotion is over". Eventually, I asked to speak to a supervisor again, and she said "okay" and put me on hold... I was on hold for 15 more minutes, and then they hung up on me.

In all, I estimate I spent about 4 hours trying to resolve this issue, but had no luck despite my very reasonable request and situation. I always believe, having a calm demeanor, showing people on the other end of the phone respect, and being polite is the best way to handle these types of situations, but in this case... with Stubhub, there is no hope of good customer service.

Bought tickets for NHL game which due…

Bought tickets for NHL game which due to covid seats were unavailable. The tickets were over $300 each with fees over $700 for both for center ice. We sat further away with graciousness from the stadium. When notifying stubhub, the said the tickets were not fake because they were scanned and I was able to get in the building. That is was not their problem the stadium made seats unavailable and I should be happy I was given admission, I did not get a refund to adjust the cost even though the seat that was available on there website that was equivalent were $116 ea. So I guess standing room is the same as front row so never pay the cost difference. They said they could do more if I contacted them when it happened and I did multiple phone attempts that were unanswered and multiple that were not sent to a real web address and were sent back, I had to wait until they were next open, I got 20% back and not close to the equivalent price.

Worst $#*!ing company ever

We waited on the phone for 2 hours to talk to someone because they never gave us our tickets they said we would have them two days ago and we still haven't received them. Annoyed is an understatement

Scammed tickets

I would definitely put zero stars if possible. My husband and I were completely scammed by Stubhub. We purchased 2 Dodger tickets and a parking ticket through them. Only ONE said parking pass only. The other 2 specified lot and row for “seats” and no where did it say it was a parking pass. All it said was “seats will be shown after checkout”. Of course After checking out They sent 3 parking passes. After hours on the phone with “The highest manager in customer service” Which had absolutely no manners, the worst attitude, and she didn’t even apologize. Just kept going on and on and on with the same excuse saying over and over saying why they couldn’t issue a refund. Her exact words were “I can try to have this case relooked but to be honest it’ll be the same outcome” Stubhub never refunded us, nor did she do anything further. We of course will NEVER buy from Stubhub again and as a consumer will not recommend to ANYONE who wants decent customer service.
